Sometime in 1974, Aero Designs changed direction. Existing local and imported products were discontinued and replaced by products which had a greater affinity with the Australian market. We introduced the Eve range of sofas, followed by the tubular bar stool and step stools and so grew our brand. Throughout the years, we have always held true to our original design philosophy - to be practical, versatile, unobtrusive and original. And to keep costs reasonable.
There are very few companies worldwide that produce as comprehensive a range as Aero and who maintain the same design philosophy be it a desk or a sofa.
Through the many different financial climates over the past 35 years we have held true to our belief that we are able to design and manufacture high quality products right here in Melbourne and still be price competitive as well as functional and aesthetically pleasing. Aero Designs is proud to rise to the challenge of keeping production in Melbourne and supporting the local manufacturing industry, it also allows us total control of the quality and outcomes of our products from the prototype stage and into production.
Today at Aero, our product development is ongoing, with prototypes and ideas being developed and built on in a constantly evolving way. Our products are still, as always clean, and versatile and are perfect to fit in any home or office. |
